  • A professional organizer is the swiss-army knife of spatial planning and lifestyle arranging. We help you overcome clutter and disorganization to make your life less stressful and your time at home more efficient.

  • Many people try to organize their homes independently, but it can quickly overwhelm them. A professional organizer is a mentor, coach, and companion rolled into one, ready to help you make life-changing decisions. We help you find a starting place, sort through the mess, and help you stay motivated and focused along the way.

Professional organizers provide fresh ideas and organizing solutions you may have never thought of for your space. With an expert by your side, you can tackle your spaces efficiently and get back to focusing on the things in your life that bring you joy.

  • Working with Personalized Living is simple! We begin with a complimentary, no-obligation phone call where we will discuss your organizing needs. We will discuss your struggles, and goals, and answer any questions you may have about working with a professional organizer.

Following your phone consultation, we do a more in-depth home consultation. During this, we go into the finer details of our offerings, tour your home, and start creating a plan for your space(s). If you want to know more about working with Personalized Living, contact us today!

  • No two projects are ever the same. At Personalized Living, we tailor your organizing sessions to your specific needs. The amount of time it takes to finish depends on many factors, such as the size of the space, the number of things you have, and your ability to make decisions during the process.

After your consultation, we will provide an estimate of services to you. Every effort is made to be as accurate as possible during this estimate and keep you informed throughout the process to stay on schedule.

  • Sessions are typically three hours to maximize what can be accomplished without getting burned out. All of our organizing projects follow a precise project that helps us keep your project on task and on time. By breaking your entire project into three-hour sessions, we are able to designate specific actionable items at each session to keep you in check with your project proposal and timeline.

    OUR PROCESS

  • Please do not clean your home before we begin. We need to see your home in its natural state. Seeing how you live helps us hone in on your organizing challenges and best suggest systems that will work for your space and family.

  • Yes, we need you to be present during the decluttering phase. It is important that you give your input and help in the decision-making process on eliminating items. Depending on the space, we may have questions about the preference of items, which you use most, etc.

Once the decluttering is complete, we happily implement the solutions and create your beautiful home on our own or with you. We will follow your lead.

  • One of the biggest myths of working with a professional organizer is that we make you throw away your things. It just isn’t true. Your belongings are yours, and you have complete control over which items you keep and which items you purge.

As professional organizers, it is our job to help guide you in making honest decisions about the items in your home. We may suggest donating, selling, recycling, or throwing away things you no longer love, need, or use.

Also, eliminating clutter is our job. It is an essential part of organization. We encourage you to consider whether you truly love, need, use, or want the item. If not, it may be time to let that object go.

  • Donating your items after your session is one of the perks of working with Personalized Living! We will transport any items that fit in our vehicle to a donation center or schedule an appropriate charitable provider for a pick-up at your home.

  • Yes, always! We take client confidentiality seriously. The work we do necessitates that my clients trust me—details and photos of your home will never be shared without your written consent and never include any identifying factors.

The photos we take while on-site are for our records and to monitor the progress of your project so that you can see the transformation at the end.

  • At Personalized Living, we help you design systems that fit you and your aesthetic. Achieving your look may use a combination of containers, shelves, and storage furniture that you currently have or new products procured for you within your budget.

We do not upcharge you for any products we shop for on your behalf. Any products purchased and used during your project are invoiced to you before the completion of your project.

  • Please know that your sessions are reserved for you and become unavailable to anyone else. We confirm appointments three days in advance. No-shows will be charged for the scheduled hours.

If you need to cancel your session for any reason other than a true emergency, we require 48 hours' notice so that another client can take advantage of our available time. Rescheduling is complimentary, but the session is non-refundable.

  • Personalized Living accepts all major credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and cash.

You receive an estimated project cost after your consultation. To secure time on our schedule, 100% of your invoice is due before scheduling your organizing sessions.

We securely send electronic contracts, papers, invoicing, and communication via email to eliminate additional paperwork. If you prefer printed documents, let us know; we will ensure you receive hard copies.

  • Gifting home organizing is life-giving, and we are happy you chose us. Gift certificates are available at Personalized Living for either single sessions or packages.

  • Yes, Personalized Living, LLC is fully insured.
